The 474th day of the Russia-Ukraine War: official operational information by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on 12.06.2023.

The Russian Federation’s attacks on the civilian infrastructure in Ukraine

The Russian Federation continues to disregard the laws and customs of war, employing tactics of terror and carrying out strikes and shelling on both military and civilian targets.

Within a day, the Russian army launched two missile strikes with sea-based Kalibr cruise missiles on residential buildings in the Kharkiv region.

In addition, Russian troops conducted a total of 17 aerial strikes and approximately 22 shelling attacks with multiple rocket launcher systems. Civilian infrastructure has been damaged. Specifically, the shelling of Bilotserkivka in the Sumy region and Shevchenkove in the Kharkiv region led to the destruction of residential private houses and other civilian infrastructure.

Furthermore, Russian soldiers dropped three guided aerial bombs on the city of Orikhiv in the Zaporizhzhia region, resulting in the death of one civilian and the destruction of private houses.

The likelihood of missile and aerial strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains very high.

The Russian army is concentrating its main efforts on the directions of Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka. Within a day, there were 23 armed clashes.
