Russian troops’ attacks on the civilian infrastructure in Ukraine

Last night, the Russian Federation launched another missile strike on the territory of one of the infrastructure objects in Mykolaiv. Additionally, the Russian army conducted 22 aerial strikes and carried out approximately 30 shelling attacks using multiple rocket launch systems. Unfortunately, civilian infrastructure has been destroyed, and innocent people have been affected.

The probability of missile and aerial strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

The Russian army is concentrating its main efforts on the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka directions, where heavy fighting is ongoing. In the past 24 hours, there have been 17 combat clashes.

  • The operational situation remains unchanged in the Volyn and Polissia directions.
  • In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the Russian army conducted aerial strikes in the areas of Basove, Odnorobivka, and Veterynarne in the Kharkiv region over the course of the day. It also carried out mortar and artillery shelling on approximately 10 populated areas, including Hirske in the Chernihiv region, Chuykivka in the Sumy region, and Udy, Veterynarne, Ohirtseve, and Zemlianky in the Kharkiv region.
  • In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian troops are holding their defense steadfastly. Russian artillery and mortar shelling targeted Krasne Pershe, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Masiutivka, and Kyslivka in the Kharkiv region.
  • In the Lyman direction, Russian soldiers conducted aerial strikes in the areas of Rozdolivka and Bilohorivka in the Donetsk region throughout the day. Over 15 populated areas, including Nevske, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Torske, Verkhniokamianske, Ivano-Dariivka, Berestove, Vesele, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region, were subjected to artillery shelling.
  • In the Bakhmut direction, under the intense fire of Russian aviation and artillery, Ukrainian military successfully repelled attacks in the area of Hryhorivka in the Donetsk region. The Russian army conducted an aerial strike near Toretsk. Over 10 populated areas, including Vasiukivka, Bohdanivka, Khromove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Oleksandro-Shultine, and Pivdenne in the Donetsk region, were affected by Russian artillery shelling.
  • In the Avdiivka direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to hold back the Russian forces’ advance in the area of Severne in the Donetsk region. The Russian army conducted an aerial strike in the Avdiivka area. At the same time, it carried out artillery shelling on over 10 populated areas, including Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
  • In the Maryinka direction, under Russian artillery fire, Ukrainian troops repelled all Russian attacks in the areas of Marinka and Krasnohorivka. The Russian army also conducted an aerial strike near the latter. It shelled over 10 populated areas, including Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Hеorhiivka, and Pobeda in the Donetsk region.
  • In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian troops conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. They carried out an aerial strike near Odradne in the Donetsk region. They shelled over 10 populated areas, including Vuhledar, Storozheve, and Blahodatne in the Donetsk region.
  • In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the Russian army is focusing its main efforts on preventing further advancement of Ukrainian troops. It conducted artillery shelling on over 20 populated areas, including Novodarivka, Levadne, Malynivka, Huliaypole, Zaliznychne, Orikhiv in the Zaporizhzhia region, Beryslav, Kozatske, Lvove, Antonivka, Inzhenerne, Dniprovke in the Kherson region, and the city of Kherson.

The Ukrainian troops’ strikes on Russian equipment

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions, consolidating their positions, inflicting artillery fire on identified Russian targets, and conducting counter-battery measures.

Over the course of the day, Ukrainian aviation conducted 4 strikes on Russian personnel, armaments, and military equipment concentrations. Ukrainian military also destroyed 3 reconnaissance UAVs of the operational-tactical level.

During the day, missile and artillery units hit a command post, 3 concentrations of personnel, armaments, and military equipment, an ammunition depot, 7 artillery systems in firing positions, and one Russian air defense system.
