Russian troops’ attacks on the civilian infrastructure in Ukraine

During the day, the Russian army conducted 2 rocket and 38 aviation strikes, carried out 26 artillery barrages from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian settlements. Unfortunately, due to the Russian terrorist attacks, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have suffered damages.

The likelihood of missile and aviation strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

Within the day, 26 clashes took place.

  • In the Volyn and Polissya directions, the operational situation remains relatively unchanged.
  • In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the Russian army carried out mortar and artillery shelling on more than 15 settlements, including Rozhkovychi, Seredyna-Buda, Myropilske, Ryasne in the Sumy region, and Pletenivka, Vovchansk, Chuhunivka in the Kharkiv region.
  • In the Kupiansk direction, population centers such as Berestove, Tverdokhlibove, and Kupiansk-Vuzlovyy in the Kharkiv region were subjected to Russian artillery and mortar shelling.
  • In the Lyman direction, Russian troops carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Tverdokhlibove and Serebrianske Lisnytstvo in the Luhansk region. Approximately 10 settlements, including Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Zvanivka, Vesele, Spirne, and Fedorivka in the Donetsk region, were hit by Russian artillery shelling.
  • In the Bakhmut direction, the Russian army conducted an aviation strike in the area of Ivanivske in the Donetsk region. Over 15 settlements, including Minkivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, and Dyliivka in the Donetsk region, were affected by Russian artillery shelling.
  • In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian military successfully repelled attacks by Russian troops in the Avdiivka area. Settlements such as Novokalynove, Stepove, Avdiivka, Tonenke, and Umanske in the Donetsk region experienced artillery shelling.
  • In the Marinka direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in the Marinka area of the Donetsk region. Settlements including Marinka, Pobeda, Yelyzavetivka, Novomykhailivka, Katerynivka, and Antonivka in the Donetsk region were subjected to artillery shelling.
  • In the Shakhtarsk direction, the Russian army carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Vodyane and Urozhayne in the Donetsk region. Over 10 settlements, including Vodyane, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, and Urozhayne in the Donetsk region, were affected by Russian artillery shelling.
  • In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russian soldiers conducted aviation strikes in the areas of Mala Tokmachka, Yehorivka, and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region. Over 15 settlements, including Poltavka, Huliaypole, Huliaypilske, Chervone, and Zatyshshia in the Zaporizhzhia region, suffered from Russian artillery shelling.
  • In the Kherson direction, the Russian army carried out an aviation strike in the Romashkove area of the Kherson region. Settlements such as Novovorontsovka, Kherson, and Komyshany in the Kherson region were affected by Russian artillery shelling.

The Ukrainian troops’ strikes on Russian equipment

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, solidifying their achieved positions, and conducting counter-battery measures.

During the day, the Armed Forces’ aviation carried out 9 strikes on the areas of Russian personnel concentration and 2 strikes on anti-aircraft missile complexes.

Rocket and artillery units struck 2 areas of Russian personnel, weapons, and military equipment concentration during the day, destroying 2 ammunition depots and 1 heavy flamethrower system TOS-1A of the Russian army.
