Russian army is stepping up its countersabotage and screening efforts. The personal cell phones of locals are carefully examined for signs of collaboration with the Ukrainian defense forces.

Soldiers from Ukraine withstood Russian attacks throughout the day in the communities of Spirne, Soledar, Pidhorodne, Bakhmut, Maiorsk, Kamyanka, Pobieda, and Pavlivka.

About twenty attacks were conducted by the Ukrainian Defense Forces’ aviation.
