The valiant Ukrainian people’s defense against a massive Russian military assault is still going strong on day 212.

Russia’s efforts continue to be concentrated on attempting to completely seize the Donetsk oblast in Ukraine and retain the invaded territory. They also strive to obstruct the Ukrainian Forces’ defence operations in certain directions. In addition to taking action to reorganize its soldiers and continuously conducting illegal aerial surveillance, it is furious with Ukrainian positions along the contact line.

The Russian Federation never stops attacking the civilian population’s houses and infrastructure. The whole area of Ukraine continues to be under threat from Russian air and missile assaults.

Russia violated international humanitarian law, rules of war, and conventions of warfare today by launching one missile, two airstrikes, and more than fifteen MLRS assaults on military and civilian targets on Ukrainian soil.

Several communities, including Pechenihy, Yatskivka, Yarova, Mariyinka, Krasnohorivka, Bilohorivka, Myroliubivka, Mykolayiv, Sukhyi Stavok, and Novohryhorivka, were hit by Russian attacks.

In the city of Odesa, the Russian army attacked urban infrastructure using an assault unmanned aerial vehicle.

There have been no substantial changes to the situation in the Polissia and Volyn’ directions.

Russia also used tanks, mortars, and artillery to fire in the following directions in Ukraine:

  • Veterynarne, Kudiyivka, Hoptivka, Strilecha, Krasne, Hlyboke, Vovchansk, Budarky, Dvorichna, Kupiansk and Kamianka in the Slobozhanskii direction;
  • Hremiach and Khotiyivka settlements (Chernihiv region) and Novovasylivka, Nova Huta, Studenok, Shalyhyne, Andriyivka, Khotin’, Myropilske and Yizdetske (Sumy region) in the Siverskyi direction;

Russia was shelling the whole contact line in the direction of South Buh. Over three dozen of Ukrainian towns came under fire. They include Myrolyubivka, Myrne, Ukrayinka, Shyroke, Dobra Nadiya, Ternovi Pody, Lymany, and Stepova Dolyna.

Russian authority began conducting phony “referendums” throughout Ukraine’s temporarily invaded and occupied territories. Employees of the so-called “election commissions” run a vigorous effort to entice as many locals as possible to cast fraudulent ballots.

With the intention of ensuring their participation in the so-called “referendums” and the continued training of males of conscription age for compulsory mobilization into the Russian forces, residents of the majority of villages in the temporarily occupied regions were prohibited from leaving.

Production at the company has been entirely halted due to the forcible mobilization of employees at the Alchevsk metallurgical factory in the Luhansk region.

It has been established that the Russia’s facilities have sustained damage in the recent days. Specifically, the munitions storage facility near the Borozenske hamlet in the Kherson oblast and three locations where Russian personnel are concentrated in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions. Up to one hundred ten Russian soldiers have died and more than one hundred twenty have been injured.

Ukrainian Defense Forces troops successfully resisted Russian attacks throughout the day in the communities of Spirne, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Odradivka, Kurdiumivka, Zaytseve, Maiorsk, Kamianka, Avdiyivka, and Opytne.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces’ aviation carried out ten attacks today in support of the operations of land forces. Damage to six locations where the Russian army gathered troops and military hardware, as well as four locations where anti-aircraft missile systems were stationed, was confirmed.

Additionally, the helicopter of the Russian army was obliterated by Ukrainian air defense forces.

The Russian positions continue to suffer fire damage from missile soldiers and artillery, and Russia’s losses in people and equipment are becoming clearer.
