Operational information on June 28, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of Ukraine

The heroic resistance of the Ukrainians against a Russian military invasion continues for 125 (one hundred twenty-five) days.

The armed forces of the Republic of Belarus held a scheduled training on communication in the Volyn, Polissia and Sumy directions. In the Siverskyi direction Sumy region, the Russian invaders fired from barrel artillery and jet artillery Pokrovka, Porozok, Starykove, Verhnia Pozhnya. Aerial reconnaissance was done to determine the locations of Ukrainian Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicles at the border of Chernihiv Oblast.

The main Russian group focuses in Kharkiv on stopping Ukrainian troops from advancing to the state frontier of Ukraine. They also launched an air attack near Yavirske and fired artillery into elements of the infrastructure close to Kharkiv, Chepil, Ruska Lozova, Staryy Saltiv. However, Ukrainian soldiers were able to repel the attack of Russia towards Dovhalivka-Zaliman. Russian soldiers fled.

The Russian army attacked Dovhenke-Dolyna in the Sloviansk direction and created the conditions for an attack against Sloviansk. It fired in the area of Izyum – Sloviansk with rocket-propelled and artillery. Performed aerial reconnaissance of UAVs close to Hrushuvakha. Ukrainian defenders stopped Russian troops from trying to move towards Dovhenke – Dolyna, and made them go back.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Rusian soldiers did not engage in active combat.

Russia provided artillery shelling from barrel artillery on the Maiaky and Tetianivka villages. They used mortars, artillery, and launched air strikes on Mykolayivka – Yakovlivka in the Lysychansk direction. The battle for the southern outskirts of the Lysychansk oil refinery is still going on. Russia wants to control the Bakhmut-Lysychansk highway.

To expose Ukrainian firing positions, Russian troops conducted reconnaissance in the direction Mykolayivka-Spirne and then launched an offensive in that direction. All of these attempts were defeated by Ukrainian soldiers who forced the enemy to withdraw.

The Russian occupiers opened fire on the districts of Kostiantynivka and Bilohorivka as well as Vyimka and Pokrovske, Bahmut, Soledar. TheRussian army continues to carry out attacks in the direction Myronivka-Vuhlehirska TPP. It launched air strikes in the vicinity of Kamianka and Avdiyivka, as well as Shevchenko. Ukrainian warriors defeated the attack towards Yehorivka-Pavilivka. Russian soldiers fled with heavy losses. In the direction of South Buh, the Russian army focuses most of its efforts on maintaining the previously occupied frontiers. This prevents Ukrainian troops from carrying out counter-offensive operations within the Kherson and Mykolayiv areas. Russia used rocket-propelled and artillery to cause fire damage to Ukrainian troops in order to stop them from regrouping. It launched an air strike in the vicinity of Potiomkine.

The Black Sea Fleet’s navy group continues to block maritime communications and reconnaissance in the northern part of the Black Sea. Two carriers of cruise missiles with naval bases of type “Caliber”, are fully prepared for use in the Black Sea.

The strike aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force struck hard at the positions of the occupiers. The attack aircraft of the Ukrainian Su-25 and Su-24m bombers were able to make up to 20 group combat sorties in all areas of hostilities. Ukrainian soldiers also continue to perform successful missile and artillery firing missions. These results are currently being examined.
