Ukrainian troops liberated more than 1,000 sq. km. of Ukraine since September: video

The President of Ukraine reported on September 8, 2022, that Ukrainian heroes have already liberated dozens of settlements in Ukraine from Russian occupiers within the ongoing defense operations.

Ukrainian defenders have liberated more than 1,000 square kilometers of the territory of Ukraine since September 1, 2022, which was occupied by Russians.

“Our heroes have liberated many settlements as part of ongoing defense operations. Today, the movement continues with new results. Since September 1, more than 1000 square kilometers of our territory have been liberated. It was possible because of everyone! I am grateful to the army, intelligence officers, and special services of Ukraine for every Ukrainian flag that has been installed these days.”

Ukrainian President also mentioned the liberation of Balaklia in the Kharkriv region (east of Ukraine), which was under Russian occupation for six months. Volodymyr Zelenskyy published a video with Ukrainian soldiers in liberated Balaklia.

“Everything is in its place. The flag of Ukraine in a free Ukrainian city under a free Ukrainian sky! Thank you! I am proud! Keep yourselves! To victory! Glory to Ukraine!” Added Ukrainian President.

This is how residents met the Ukrainian military. People waited six months for liberation from the Russian occupation.
