The Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko informed that Russian troops launched a rocket attack on Sloviansk (a city in the Donetsk region) around 4 p.m. on April 14, 2023. Nine civilians were killed and twenty-one were injured.

“Around 4 p.m., Russians launched a rocket attack on Sloviansk. According to preliminary data, S-300 missiles were used. 5 high-rise buildings and 5 private houses, a shop, a business center, a club and 3 cars were damaged,” wrote the Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.
Later, Pavlo Kyrylenko added that Russians fired at least 7 rockets (according to preliminary information S-300) into the city, 6 of them hit the residential sector, and another 1 hit the territory of the landscape park.
“A two-year-old child was among the killed who, unfortunately, could not be saved after being pulled out from under the rubble. Other 5 people are probably under the rubble of the destroyed building,” added the Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.
As a result of the Russian rocket attacks on Sloviansk, 9 residents of the Donetsk region were killed, 21 more people were injured on April 14, 2023. In addition, it was possible to clarify information about 1 injured person in Marinka.
