The Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko noted that Russian troops shelled a building, where representatives of the international organization Red Cross work in Kherson on January 15, 2023, as a result, a fire broke out.

“Russian soldiers shelled the city of Kherson. Russian shells hit the premises where representatives of the Red Cross work. The shelling caused a strong fire. Rescue workers are working. There is no information about the victims,” said the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
Kyrylo Tymoshenko also added that Russian soldiers knew where to strike.
“During the shelling of the same building in mid-December, a volunteer and member of the Red Cross rapid response unit Viktoria Yaryshko was killed,” clarified the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
In addition, as Yaroslav Yanushevich, the head of Kherson Regional Military Administration reported a children’s rehabilitation center, private and apartment buildings were hit, and seven people were injured.
“Russia targeted the rehabilitation center for children with disabilities. Windows and doors were broken in the building, and the wall was damaged. Russian shells fell near the premises of the student dormitory,” noted Yaroslav Yanushevich.
