Russian military shelled the capital of Ukraine, there are injured civilians: video

The mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klychko informed that in the morning of March 9, 2023, Russian troops attacked Kyiv with missiles. According to preliminary information, 2 civilians were injured.

“Explosions in the Holosiivskyi District of the capital. All services are working on place. Due to the missile attack, the energy industry cut off the power supply in the capital. Currently, approximately 15% of consumers are without electricity,” said the mayor of Kyiv.

Later, Vitaliy Klychko added that explosions were also heard in the Sviatoshynskyi District of Kyiv.

“Another explosion in the capital. Sviatoshynskyi District. All services go to the place. Cars are burning in the yard of one of the residential buildings,” reported Vitaliy Klychko.

According to the mayor of Kyiv, 2 civilians were injured due to the Russian missile attack.
“Two injured in the Sviatoshynskyi District. Medics are providing them with assistance. Doctors hospitalized two victims from the Sviatoshynskyi district of Kyiv. So far, three people have asked for help,” said the mayor of Kyiv.
The Kyiv Regional Military Administration added that the capital of Ukraine was attacked by drones and cruise missiles.
“Thanks to the work of our air defense system, no cruise missile or UAV attacks on the capital were recorded. But, unfortunately, a Kinzhal-type aerial ballistic missile (preliminary information) hit an infrastructure facility,” said the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
