Russia shelled residential building in the Cherkasy region, 3 civilians were killed: photos, video

Ihor Taburets, the Head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration noted that a Russian rocket hit a residential building in Uman, Cherkasy region (central Ukraine) on April 28, 2023. As a result of the rocket hitting the entrance of the nine-story building was destroyed. Three people were killed and eight were injured.

“This morning, Russian troops attacked Cherkasy. We have two cruise missile hits in Uman: a residential building and warehouse buildings were affected. All services are available on site,” wrote the Head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration.

Emergency services, police and medics are working at the site where the Russian rocket hit the residential building.

 

The entrance of the nine-story building was destroyed as a result of being hit by Russian missile.

“According to information at the moment [ 7 a.m. – ed.], Russian rockets took the lives of 3 people. Other 8 civilians are injured,” said Ihor Taburets.

UPD: 23 civilians were killed in Uman, including 4 children as of 19:00 p.m.
