Zakharchenko tells about “Kyiv’s illusions” and status of Donbas in “DPR”

The self-proclaimed “DPR” is not going to recognize the law of Ukraine about a special status of Donbas.
“Prime minister” of the unrecognized “DPR” Oleksandr Zakharchenko told RIA Novosti.
“Ukraine may adopt any laws, they do not concern us, we are an independent state, its citizens voted for its independence (at the referendum of May 11 – Ed.),” Zakharchenko said.
According to him, “Kyiv still has an illusion that it governs us, in reality this is not so.”
“There are not any “separate districts of Donbas,” there is the “DPR,” which intends to return all the occupied territory within the borders of the former Donetsk region of Ukraine,” Zakharchenko said.
As reported by Ukrinform, October 16, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed a law “On a special procedure of local self-government in separate districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.”
A special order on the designated territories is implemented by the law temporarily, for three years, since the moment of coming into force.
The main aim is creation of conditions for quick normalization of the situation, renewal of the law order, constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens, creation of conditions for the return of residents to places of permanent resident, forcibly left by them, renewal of life activities at settlements and development of those territories. Also, rights and lawful interests of legal persons are also renewed.
