A procedure for obtaining Ukrainian military war participant status must be speeded up.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatseniuk said at the opening session of the government on Wednesday, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“I ask the Defense Ministry, the Security Service, the Interior Ministry, the National Guard, border guards, the state civil service of special communications and telecommunications, Сomrades, speed up the submission of the list of ATO participants,” Yatseniuk said.
He noted that the status of combatants at once will result in benefits and compensations to families of higher tariffs for housing and communal services.
Social Policy Minister Liudmyla Denisova said that now in Ukraine 152 individuals were awarded the status of combatants.
