WHO Assembly condemned Russia for the waging of war in Ukraine

The World Health Organization adopted a resolution condemning Russia’s attack on Ukraine On May 26.

88 states voted for the resolution proposed by Western countries, while 12 voted against it and 53 abstained. That would mean Russia wouldn’t have a say on decisions that are adopted by WHO members.

The resolution, in particular, called on Russia to immediately stop strikes on hospitals and other medical facilities.
