“We will stand with Ukraine as long as necessary,” US and Britain reacted to Putin’s statement

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the partial mobilization in Russia, declared “support” for the pseudo-republics, and once again threatened nuclear strikes. The USA and Great Britain have already reacted to the cynical statements of the head of the Kremlin on September 21, 2022.

US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink responded to the Russian President’s call for “partial mobilization” on Twitter. She said that so-called “referendums” and mobilization are signs of Russia’s weakness and failure.

“Fake “referendums” and mobilization are signs of Russia’s weakness and failure. The United States will never recognize Russia’s claims to allegedly annexed Ukrainian territory, and we will continue to support Ukraine as long as necessary.”

At the same time, British Ambassador to Ukraine Melinda Simmons tweeted that she also watched Putin’s speech. According to her, he still refuses to understand Ukraine.

“Watched Putin’s speech. He still refuses to understand Ukraine. Partial mobilization and sham referenda don’t change that essential weakness.”
