Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk approached the parliament Speaker about calling a special meeting of the Verkhovna Rada for consideration of anticorruption laws.
The government portal informed.
“Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatseniuk approached Verkhovna Rada Chairman Oleksandr Turchynov requesting to convene a special meeting of the parliament for consideration of a package of anticorruption laws, prepared by the government and the President of Ukraine,” a statement reads.
A special meeting of the parliament is proposed by the government to be a convened October 7.
