“And so, we’re going to continue doing an historic amount of security assistance [to Ukraine – ed.], as we have done, and to make sure that they have what they need to continue to fight for their democracy and their freedom,” informed Karine Jean-Pierre.

The Press Secretary of the United States emphasized that it is important not only for the United States but also for partners around the world to make every possible effort to help Ukraine. And this, according to Karine Jean-Pierre, remains unchanged.

In response to a question about whether Poland was in contact with the US before President Duda announced preparations for the transfer of MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine, Karine Jean-Pierre noted that Washington had been informed of this decision.

“So, we continue to closely coordinate with our allies and partners, including Poland, as we provide assistance to Ukraine,” added US Press Secretary.
