The United States will hand over Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine.
They are to be included in a new $ 40 billion aid package recently approved by the US Senate.
The bill provides a combined $20 billion in military aid that is expected to finance the transfer of advanced weapons systems such as Patriot antiaircraft missiles, and long-range artillery. The bill also included more than $8 billion in general economic support for Ukraine, nearly $5 billion in global food aid, and more than $1 billion in combined support for refugees.
