US to allocate $ 1.5 billion per month for Ukraine

“We have already allocated a billion dollars for this. And we still have to allocate about $1.5 billion a month over the next 4-5 months,” he said.

The official noted that direct support for the Ukrainian government is “one of the priorities” of President Joe Biden’s administration.

As a State Department official noted, in general, over the past three months, the United States has allocated about $ 53.6 billion to help Ukraine, including military assistance.

At the same time, US officials, both former and current, warn of the need to control the use of assistance provided by the United States in Kyiv.
