Up to 50 women are in Russian captivity, 2 of them are pregnant

The Head of the Patronage Service of the “Azov” regiment, Olena Tolkachova noted on September 19, 2022, that the entire world order, which was established after the Second World War, i.e. the Geneva Conventions, is not working now and the Russians openly ignore the agreements and break their promises.

Up to 50 women who left the territory of the Azovstal plant in May are in Russian captivity. Two of them are pregnant. According to the agreements, they were supposed to be exchanged immediately after the injured defenders, but Russians again did not keep their promises.

“We have two pregnant women there, one woman from “Azov” regiment, the other woman is either a border guard or a marine – I don’t know for sure. The one who is not from “Azov” is about to give birth. The one from “Azov” is a woman in the fourth month of pregnancy.”

She says that not all of these women are military and there are many civilians among them.

“Civilians still remained there, there were a lot of women. And according to our agreements, the women were supposed to leave just after the exchange of the seriously injured. And now they cannot give us at least two pregnant women. We are already silent about everyone else – and there are up to 50 women!”

Earlier, Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andriy Kostin said that Russia used any opportunity not to return Ukrainian prisoners.
