Ukrainian troops have already shot down 273 Iranian kamikaze drones

The spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ihnat noted that Ukrainian military had shot down 273 “Shahed-136” Iranian kamikaze drones since September 13, 2022, which Russia used against Ukraine’s civilians and infrastructure. However, Russia also uses other unmanned aerial vehicles.

“We have already shot down 273 “Shahed-136″ kamikaze drones since the first use of it in Kupyansk, the Kharkiv region of Ukraine on September 13, 2022,” said the spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In addition to the “Shahed-136”, Russia also uses another modification of the UAV – the “Shahed-131”. This is a smaller model with a small warhead. However, kamikaze drones remain a high-precision weapon that flies precisely and can hit a critical point, resulting in a large amount of damage.

Also, Ukrainian military shot down 4 more “Mohajer-6” attack Iranian drones.

“More than a thousand Russian unmanned aerial vehicles have been shot down by Ukrainian forces since the beginning of the war,” concluded Yuriy Ihnat.
