“Today I am in Kyiv to assure the Ukrainian President of Latvia’s continued strong support to Ukraine until victory in this war. Latvia is your advocate. Latvia will help in the reconstruction effort. Slava Ukraini!”
The President of Latvia added that Latvia would not abandon Ukraine even after its victory over Russian invaders.
At the same time, the Prime Minister of Poland congratulated the Ukrainian military on the successful offensive and wished that it would be a signal for the final victory.
According to Morawiecki, Russia’s victory would mean a defeat not only for Ukraine but also for Europe and its values.
“Sanctions against Russia are becoming increasingly painful for its economy. Russia uses economic instruments as a gun that is held to the head of many EU countries, and in Ukraine, it is a rifle held to the body.”
In addition, the President of Ukraine and the Prime Minister of Poland discussed the creation of a special hub for the repair of Ukrainian military equipment and military training.
