The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 4 tanks on the southern front, as well as 3 ammunition depots of Russian troops in Beryslav and Mykolaiv regions on October 28, 2022.

During the combat day, the Russians attacked with aircraft Ukrainian positions 8 times, as well as the settlements of the Beryslav region liberated at the beginning of October.
In response, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched 8 strikes on the areas where the forces and weapons of Russian soldiers were concentrated, the deployment of air defense systems, and the stronghold in the Mykolaiv, Pervomaiskyi, and Beryslav regions.
Ukrainian missile and artillery units performed 160 fire missions.
“Russian forces lost in the south of Ukraine 34 soldiers, two “Grad” multiple rocket launcher systems, 4 tanks, 3 mortars, “Giatsint” self-propelled gun, and towed howitzer,” noted the operational Command “South”.
The Operational Command noted that the Ukrainian military also damaged 4 more artillery installations and one tank of the Russian army.
