The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that at night on March 22, 2023, during Russian air attack, Ukrainian Air Force destroyed 16 out of 21 Russian UAVs.

“This night, the Russian army launched another massive attack using drones of Shahed-136 type. According to preliminary information, 16 drones out of 21 launched by Russian troops were destroyed by Ukrainian air defense,” reported the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In particular, all Russian drones launched at the Kyiv region were shot down.
“The Russian army does not stop attacking Kyiv. Tonight, Russia again launched its deadly UAVs in the direction of the capital. According to preliminary information, these were Shahed loitering munitions. All targets detected in the airspace around Kyiv were destroyed by Ukrainian air defense forces,” informed Serhiy Popko, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.
