According to him, the urban-type settlement was liberated as a result of a successful counteroffensive operation.

Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi was a fundamental and quite important direction for Russian soldiers because it is one of the largest logistical railway junctions in the region.

“Thanks to the successful military operation, our Armed Forces repelled this junction of the Russians and are in fact in full control,” Oleg Sinegubov emphasized.

Oleg Sinegubov noted that 6% of the region’s territory is now under the control of the Russian army, but after the successful operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, this percentage has decreased.

Uaposition memo: Kupyansk-Vozlovyi was captured by Russian troops on the first day of the invasion, and since there is a railway station there, their ammunition was transferred by rail from Belgorod.
