Ukrainian fighters shoot down up to 90% of Iranian kamikaze drones

According to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shoot down at least 85% of Iranian “Shahed-136” kamikaze drones which Russia uses.

“Concerning the “Shahed-136″ drones. Unfortunately, yes, sometimes they do break through. But the number of kamikaze drones shot down by Ukrainian military, and Ukrainian anti-aircraft forces, and other units involved in this process already reaches 85-90%, depending on the day. They launch a lot of them.”

Ukraine is learning to fight against kamikaze drones, assures the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

“But this does not mean that Ukraine’s population should not respond to messages when there is an air alarm. It is necessary to hide in bomb shelters. It is necessary to make certain decisions to move people to places where there is an absolutely safe situation for them,” emphasized Oleksiy Danilov.
