According to her, it is forbidden to evict displaced people – it is only possible to move IDPs to acceptable conditions, which will not be worse, but even better.

“I appeal once again to the heads of such institutions, the heads of settlements where there are such institutions where displaced persons live, for example, schools, kindergartens of state, communal property. There should be a complete ban on the eviction. We can only move displaced persons to acceptable conditions, which will not be worse. But eviction is prohibited.”

She also noted that the IDPs will not be evicted from the dormitories, but internally displaced persons from other institutions, where lessons are conducted offline will join them.

The Minister noted that currently 3.4 million Ukrainians are registered as internally displaced persons, but the International Organization for Migration says about 6.2 million people – taking into account those registered as IDPs since 2014 (this is approximately 14% of the entire population of Ukraine).
