Natalia Kostenko, the Deputy Permanent Representative of Ukraine to International Organizations in Vienna informed on March 2, 2023, that Ukrainian troops repulse up to 100 attacks by Russian troops along the entire front line, killing an average of 700 Russian servicemen every day.

“The Russian military leadership continues to rely on its numerical superiority, sending its troops, including those mobilized and condemned from the “Wagner group”, as cannon fodder, ignoring the high number of combat casualties. Every day, Ukrainian forces have to repel up to 100 attacks along the entire line front line. Despite regular shelling and fierce fighting, the front line is maintained,” said Natalia Kostenko.
According to the Deputy Permanent Representative of Ukraine to International Organizations in Vienna, the Russian Federation loses an average of 700 servicemen every day, and the total number of Russian casualties has already reached 149,240.
“The most difficult situation is currently observed in Donbas, in particular in the Kupyansk, Avdiivka, Lyman, Shakhtarsk and Bakhmut areas. In addition, the Russian army does not stop trying to improve its positions in the south, shelling the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions,” added Natalia Kostenko.
Natalia Kostenko also informed that only in the last week, the Russian Federation launched more than 40 missiles and carried out more than 110 airstrikes, as well as more than 210 strikes from multiple rocket launchers.
