Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine noted on September 19, 2022, that the Ukrainian soldiers heroically resist Russian troops in several directions. In particular, the Donetsk region in the east of Ukraine is currently the epicentre of the use of Russian forces.

Currently, the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine have several priority tasks. Thus, stabilization measures are ongoing in the already liberated territories.
“Stabilization measures are taking place. Our task is to implement certain security measures, which are necessary, given that these territories were under Russian occupation. The next task is to hold these territories.”
But if we talk about the front in general, then the Deputy Minister emphasized that we should not forget that the length of the front is large – we are talking about 1300 kilometers of active operations.
Heroic battles are currently underway where the Russian forces are concentrated in at least two directions.
“Ukrainian soldiers are courageously resisting in the Donetsk region because this is the epicentre of the use of Russian military forces. Also, our defenders are facing the Russian army in another epicentre in the south.”
