Ukrainian Air Force shoots down Russian drones every day

Russian aviation has not dared to enter the airspace controlled by Ukraine, while our defenders shoot down one or two Russian drones every day in all regions of Ukraine.

“Every day we have 1-2 downed Russian unmanned aerial vehicles, which constantly conduct reconnaissance over the territory of Ukraine. This happens not only in the east but also in the north, even in the western regions of Ukraine, where two UAVs were recently shot down.”

He added that these drones are extremely dangerous things, they need to be shot down.

“It is after their flights, missile attacks on infrastructure facilities, strategically important state facilities, transport junctions, etc., will probably take place,” Ihnat said.

He clarified that anti-aircraft missile forces, fighters, and special posts with portable anti-aircraft missile systems shoot down UAVs.

The spokesman emphasized that Russian aircraft have not dared to enter the airspace controlled by Ukraine for three months.
