Ukrainian air defense shot down 4 Russian cruise missiles

The Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration said on August 20, 2022, that Russian occupiers hit the Dnipropetrovsk region (central Ukraine) with four cruise “Kalibr” missiles, but the Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense shot down all the targets.

“A cool start to Saturday from our military. Our anti-aircraft defense shot down all 4 “Kalibr” missiles that the Russians directed at the region over the Dnipropetrovsk region (central Ukraine). Glory to our military!”

Later, this fact was confirmed by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“On August 20, at around 10 a.m. in the Dnipropetrovsk region, the anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed four “Kalibr” cruise missiles that the occupiers fired from the Black Sea. In addition, at around 9:00 a.m., the anti-aircraft units of the Air Force shot down another enemy UAV!”

Defenders of the Ukrainian sky used only 4 missiles of the S300 complex to shoot down 4 enemy missiles of the “Kalibr” type.
