The Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Serhiy Nayev reported on March 1, 2023, that today, the effectiveness of the Air Defense system of Ukraine has improved significantly and the number of shot down Russian missiles is 80%.

According to Serhiy Nayev, the percentage of downed Russian rockets is even more than 80 in some cases.
“Currently, the percentage of shooting down missiles has changed a lot and is equal to 80 percent. And even more in some cases. Ukrainian air defense specialists have become more professional and competent. But the Russian army is also changing its tactics and methods of using air attack means. So, we analyze after every shot. This analysis is carried out and the commanders, accordingly, make such decisions so that the stability of air defense is at the highest level,” said the Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Earlier, it became known that Ukrainian aviation destroyed more than 650 Russian missiles and 610 drones since September 2022.
