“On Wednesday, April 5, we expect the official visit of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Poland,” tweeted the Office of the President of Poland.

The Ukrainian President will also meet Poles and Ukrainians living in Poland in the Royal Castle, Warsaw on April 5, 2023.

The Ukrainian side has not yet commented on the information about the upcoming visit of the President to Poland.

This will be the third foreign visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, but the first visit directly to Poland. At the same time, all the previous trips of the Ukrainian President abroad took place precisely with the assistance of the Polish side and through Polish airfields. During each of these visits, Volodymyr Zelenskyy was met by the President of Poland Andrzej Duda.
