“On the way home, I met a friend of Ukraine – the President of Poland Andrzej Duda. We summed up the year, which brought historic challenges due to a full-scale war.  We discussed strategic plans for the future, bilateral relations and interactions at the international level in 2023,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote on Twitter.

The President thanked his Polish colleague for his constant and strong support.

According to the press service of the President’s Office of Ukraine, the Presidents touched on a wide range of topics with an emphasis on strengthening the defense capabilities of the Ukrainian state and humanitarian issues, which are extremely important, in particular, for Ukrainian temporary refugees who were forced to leave Ukraine to escape the war.
