Ukraine`s Parliament may exclude Savchenko from delegation to PACE

The position of People`s Deputy Nadia Savchenko has not gone unnoticed in the PACE. There are many questions to Savchenko in this regard, MP Leonid Yemets, member of the Ukrainian delegation to the PACE, wrote on Facebook.

”The position of our colleague Savchenko has not gone unnoticed. There are plenty of questions,” Yemets wrote.

At the same time, in the comments under the posting, Leonid Yemets said that the issue of whether Nadia Savchenko will remain a member of te Ukrainian delegation to PACE will be decided by the Verkhovna Rada next week.

”[The issue] will be addressed by Parliament next week,” the MP wrote.

According to several media reports, on December 7 Nadia Savchenko had secretly visited Minsk where she met with the leaders of the ”DPR” and ”LPR” terrorist organizations Alexander Zakharchenko and Igor Plotnitsky.

Advisor to the Chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine Yuriy Tandit said that Savchenko had not notified the agency regarding her upcoming Minsk visit aimed to hold a meeting with the militant leaders.
