Ukraine tranche not on IMF agenda in Nov

According to the schedule of the International Monetary Fund, the Board of Governors until the end of November will consider only one issue, which is the state of the Finnish economy.

Ukraine`s key creditor, the International Monetary Fund, does not plan to consider the allocation for Ukraine of a fourth tranche under the Extended Fund Facility, approved in March 2015, until the end of November, despite the fact that Fund`s assessment mission had already completed its work in Kyiv and made a final statement on the results of discussions with the Ukrainian authorities.

According to the schedule of the Fund, in November, the Board of Governors will consider only one issue – the state of the Finnish economy.

The next time the Board will meet will meet on December 1 to discuss the IMF`s role in global solutions for climate change.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine`s Finance Minister Oleksandr Danyliuk said there was no immediate need for the fourth tranche of the IMF financial aid to Ukraine.
