The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal noted on March 15, 2023, that the Energy Community would help Ukraine rebuild its energy infrastructure.

“The Energy Community, which includes most of the European countries, will help Ukraine in rebuilding the energy sector. The relevant memorandum was signed today during a meeting with the delegation of the Energy Community Secretariat headed by Artur Lorkovsky,” informed the Prime Minister of Ukraine.
According to Denys Shmyhal, the memorandum is about support for priority projects of construction and reconstruction of the energy infrastructure of Ukraine, as well as support for the restoration of alternative energy facilities.
In addition, the memorandum envisages cooperation in the preparation of lawsuits against Russia to collect compensation for damage to the energy infrastructure of Ukraine.
“During the meeting, we also discussed steps to further synchronize the energy systems of Ukraine and the EU and increase the power export-import capacity. Thank you for your support and solidarity. Together we will restore and transform Ukraine into a modern European state,” added the Prime Minister of Ukraine.
