Ukraine informed the European Commission on its readiness to hold negotiations on gas issues in a trilateral format, according to a representative of the country`s Energy Ministry.
Ukraine informed the European Commission on its will to hold gas talks in the Ukraine – EU – Russia format ”any time convenient for Brussels,” Director for strategic planning and European integration at the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine, Mykhail Bno-Ayriyan.
”Yesterday, we appealed to the leaders of the European Commission regarding our willingness to participate in the negotiations in the gas sphere in the trilateral Ukraine-EU-Russia format, at any convenient time for Brussels,” wrote the official.
