Ukraine promises uninterrupted transit of gas to Balkan countries

Ukrtransgaz has agreed with gas companies from seven countries on the regime of pumping Russian natural gas to the Balkan countries in 2015.
Director of the Central Dispatching Department of PJSC Ukrtransgaz Andriy Datsiuk said this during an annual meeting of gas transport companies transiting gas to the Balkan countries in Poiana Brasov (Romania) on Friday, the press service of the state enterprise reported.
“This year we completed all the planned work at the Ukrainian gas transportation system and are willing to continue to provide uninterrupted transit of natural gas in the Balkan direction,” Datsiuk said.
The meeting participants agreed on routine repair work at the pipelines of the Balkan direction for 2015 and signed a respective protocol.
