Ukraine struck more than 400 Russian targets with the help of HIMARS missile systems supplied by the United States.

“We are seeing real and measurable gains from Ukraine in the use of these systems. For example, the Ukrainians have struck over 400 targets with the HIMARS and they’ve had a devastating effect.”

The US General added that Russian command posts were hit and there are difficulties with replacing what was lost in the battles and with supplying their forces.

Milley says that the Ukrainians have combined the US-supplied weapon systems with military maneuvers and excellent command and control in recent times to achieve the desired effect. The General concluded that all members of the contact group will continue to cooperate to provide Ukraine with everything it needs to protect its freedom.
