Ukraine has already liberated 1,886 settlements from Russian troops

The Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko noted that Ukrainian troops liberated 1,886 settlements from Russian soldiers, and humanitarian headquarters began working in the 1620 liberated settlements of Ukraine as of November 22, 2022.

“As of today, 1,886 settlements have already been liberated. The work of humanitarian headquarters has begun on the territory of 1,620 liberated settlements,” explained the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

According to Kyrylo Tymoshenko, the work of state authorities and local self-government bodies is being restored in the liberated cities and villages.

The Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine informed that medical institutions had resumed work in 965 settlements, social services – in almost 1,300, educational institutions – in 1,065, and financial services have been restored in 1,206 settlements.

In addition, Ukraine’s President added that Ukraine would still have to liberate and restore about 2,000 villages and towns captured by Russia.

“The Russian war had hit the entire territory of Ukraine, but Russian troops temporarily managed to capture part of the territory of ten regions of Ukraine,” said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
