Ukraine has already exported 8 million tons of grain as part of the UN program

The press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine noted that another two ships with 82,000 tons of agricultural products left from the Ukrainian Pivdennyi Port for the countries of Asia and Europe on October 20, 2022.

“In particular, the tanker “Atlantis Almeria” and the bulk carrier “Aris T” left the port,” the department of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine noted.

According to the data of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, a total of 8 million tons of agricultural products have been exported since the start of the “grain initiative”, and the number of ships with food that left Ukrainian ports for countries in Asia, Europe and Africa reached 362.

Uaposition memo: Two documents were signed on the creation of a corridor for the export of grain from three Ukrainian ports: “Chornomorsk”, “Odesa” and “Pivdennyi” between the UN, Ukraine and Turkey in Istanbul on July 22, 2022. The same document was signed between Turkey, the UN, and Russia. These documents initially were set up for 120 days. Ukraine set a goal of exporting 3 million tons of agricultural products per month as part of the initiative.
