Ukraine to earn UAH 1 bln from lease of state property in 2016

The State Property Fund of Ukraine is planning to transfer UAH 1 billion, or about $37.8 million, in revenue from the lease of state property to the national budget in 2016, according to the Fund`s Facebook page.

”The Fund and its regional offices collected almost UAH 860 million in budget revenue from the lease in the 10 months of the year… By the end of year, they forecast [the amount will go up to] UAH 1 billion,” the Fund`s press service said on Facebook.

The total number of lease contracts as of October 30 exceeded 19,000.

As UNIAN reported earlier, revenue from the lease of state property in January-October 2016 decreased by 13.6%, to UAH 859.5 million against UAH 994.5 million in the same period 2015.

In 2015, the Fund transferred UAH 1.21 billion from the lease of state property to the state budget, which was 23.1% up on 2014 and 2.2 times higher than in the 2015 annual plan.
