“Ukraine, which is repelling the attacks of the aggressor during the first cyber war in the world, needs increased support from partners. At the same time, we are ready to share our own unique experiences gained during the confrontation with the enemy. This is cooperation from which all participants will benefit,” said the head of the State Security Service Yuriy Shchygol.

The document provides for cooperation in the following key areas:

– harmonization of legislation and bilateral legal and law enforcement cooperation in the field of combating cybercrime and cyberterrorism;

– training of experts in the field of cyber security and cyber protection;

– conducting research in the field of cyber protection.

The signing of the memorandum will also have a positive effect on the exchange of information about cyber incidents, and ways to identify vulnerabilities and respond to cyber threats.
