U.S. to give Ukraine $7 mln for Donbas restoration

The United States will give Ukraine almost $7 million for the restoration of the eastern parts of the state, suffered from hostilities, including $1 million in new support
U.S. Vice President Joe Biden said this in a phone call with Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatseniuk, Reuters reported citing the White House.
The aid includes contributions to the Red Cross and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees for medical aid, access to drinking water, and small rebuilding projects, the White House said.
Earlier, the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine provided assistance in the amount of 50,000 dollars to ensure the most urgent needs of the residents of Donbas.
