Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko had a meeting with U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker in the course of his working visit to the United States, the president`s press service reported.
The President informed on the course of reforms in Ukraine, which provides new opportunities for the involvement of U.S. investments in the Ukrainian economy, the press service said.
The parties also discussed the involvement of U.S. credit resources. The U.S. Secretary of Commerce informed on the assistance in revitalization of the Export-Import Bank of the United States and the Overseas Private Investment Corporation in Ukraine.
”Penny Pritzker also supported the initiative of Poroshenko to establish the National Investment Council and involve leading U.S. companies in its activity,” the report says.
