UN Secretary-General said the Security Council had not done what it had in the context of Russia’s attack on Ukraine.

Guterres acknowledged that the Security Council, a key UN body, deserved to be disappointed with its work.
“There are not enough words about solidarity. The Security Council has not been able to do everything in its power to prevent and end this war. This has caused mass frustration and anger,” he said.
Guterres, however, made no plans to overcome this.
“Many world leaders have made efforts to end the aggression so far to no avail.”
