On August 23, 2022, it became known that the Ukrainian military destroyed 17 Russian invaders, the “Buk” anti-aircraft missile complex, the “Sani” (“sleigh”) towed mortar complex and other enemy equipment on the southern defense lines.

“During the day, air-based missiles attacked Odesa and Mykolaiv regions (south of Ukraine). In the first case, the Kh-59 and an infrastructure object in the region were involved, in the second, a Kh-31 missile aimed at the Koblevo region was shot down by air defense forces over the sea. There were no losses or damage. The enemy attacked our positions along the contact line 8 times with helicopters and attack aircraft. Without our losses.”
Instead, Ukrainian aviation hit the stronghold, the areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and equipment, ammunition warehouses and the means of air defense of Russian occupiers.
In combination with the execution of fire missions by missile and artillery units, the following losses of the enemy were ensured: 17 Russian invaders, 1 anti-aircraft missile complex “Buk”, and 1 towed mortar complex “Sani” of 120 mm caliber, 5 units of automobile and armored vehicles.
Significant damage was inflicted on the Antonivskyy bridge (the bridge that crossed the Dnieper river in the south), a heavy degree of damage to the bridge across the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant was confirmed, and the enemy ammunition depot in Kakhovka was destroyed.
