The purpose of the shelling of Ukrainian infrastructure is to destroy the country’s economy. Against the background of the total destruction of the industrial potential of the eastern regions, Russia continues to block, break and damage any transport routes of Ukraine that connect it with the world.

“The strategically important bridge links Ukraine with Romania and with Ukraine’s ports on the Danube, which have become critical to Ukrainian exports after the blockade of Ukrainian Black Sea ports by Russia.”

At the same time, Russian troops continue to destroy the Luhansk region. The Russian military command concentrated its main firepower on the Sieverodonetsk route.

Beyond the Donbas, Russia continues to conduct long-range missile strikes against infrastructure across Ukraine.
