The situation on the front line will get worse soon, – Defence Intelligence of Ukraine

The representative of the press service of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine said on August 17, 2022, that Russia is still not ready to withdraw its troops, and Ukraine will release all captured territories, as a result, aggravation is expected at the front soon.

“We see active fighting along the entire contact line. At the moment, we are not ready to say that Russia will withdraw its troops from the territory of Ukraine, but Ukraine will release all its territories captured by the enemy. In the near future, there will be acute events on the entire front,” Andriy Yusov said, adding that there is no reference to specific dates.

Nevertheless, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine does not rule out possible exacerbations on the eve and on the Independence Day of Ukraine on August 24.

The representative added that the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense had long predicted and warned that August and September would be important periods for the further development of hostilities on the entire front.
